Make a meaningful impact working with PreK-12th grade students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity focuses primarily on Early Childhood with a maximum of 40 hours per week. You will play an integral role in supporting students’ communication skills and overall academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold current Michigan licensure with ASHA certification (CCC-SLP required)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, particularly working with Early Childhood and PreK-12 students
- Comfortable working fully onsite, as remote or virtual options are not available for this position
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status must have a supervisor lined up prior to start
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to various student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, with an emphasis on early learners
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
