Job Title: Travel Welder
Job Description
This role focuses on production welding in a high-volume manufacturing environment, assembling and welding a variety of metal parts and components. You will perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding, operate overhead cranes safely, and work from blueprints and written instructions to produce consistent, high-quality welds. The position requires strong attention to detail, accurate use of measuring devices, and the flexibility to train and work in different areas of production as demand shifts.

Work Environment
The weld department operates in a large-scale production setting with approximately 300 employees, aiming to grow to around 400 to be fully staffed. The environment centers on production welding, where the same parts and lifts are welded daily, creating a repetitive but stable workflow. Team members are expected to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a culture that values reliability, cooperation, and adaptability. The dress code requires jeans, steel-toe footwear, and a clean work shirt to support safety and professionalism on the shop floor. Multiple shifts are available, including 1st shift (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), with a $1.75 shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shift work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
