Paraprofessional, PCA, or Behavior Technician
- Location: Malvern, PA
- Full-Time
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Technician in a school or related environment
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to assist with individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with students exhibiting diverse needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students during classroom activities, one-on-one, or in small groups
- Implement behavior support plans and reinforce positive behavioral interventions
- Assist classroom teachers in maintaining a structured, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Document student progress and behaviors; communicate observations to teachers and specialists
- Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies and student outcomes
- Support students with daily activities and encourage independence
