We are seeking civil and mechanical engineers to join our project engineering team. We are looking for creative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet. As an Applications Engineer, this individual will play a key role in designing, estimating, and qualifying for GigaWatts worth of Solar Capacity around the world. This is a prime opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their professional skills and gain experience in the exciting market of Solar PV.
Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- Performengineeringanalysis,includingstructuralcalculationsforcompanyproducts,inaccordancewithapplicablecodesandstandards.
- SupportSalesStaffinperformingpreliminaryprojectanalysis,estimatingmaterialtake-offs,andrespondingtotechnicalquestions.
- EvaluateinbounddocumentationtoidentifypotentialhurdlestosuccessfulprojectcompletionInterfacewithcompanystaff,clientcommercialandtechnicalpersonnel
- Drafttechnicalprequalificationdocuments(plans,assemblydrawings,anddetails)forgroundmountedsolarrackingsystems
- Propose, design and validate new ways of reducing the total amount of structural material in racking systems to reduce the overall cost of the system without compromise to quality

- BachelorsinEngineeringCivilorMechanicalEngineeringorsimilar
- Minimum1yearofrelevantengineering,projectmanagement,sales,orestimatingexperiencepreferred
- Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings,specifications,reports
- Abilitytoperformworkindependentlyandreliablyaccordingtoworkschedulesandassignments
- Capabilityfornavigating,interpretingandapplyingbuildingcoderequirements
- ProficiencyinAutoCAD
- Mustbeself-directedandresourceful,detailorientedandabletomanagemultiplepriorities,comfortable
- workinginafast-pacedenvironment.
- ExperiencewithsolarPVtechnologypreferredbutnotrequired.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
