We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software for embedded systems across the full development lifecycle. You will work from requirements analysis and architectural design through implementation, testing, validation, and formal sell-off, with a strong emphasis on robust, reliable, and thoroughly tested solutions. In addition to hands-on technical development, you will support proposal efforts by translating customer requirements into actionable work tasks and providing accurate effort estimates. This role requires clear, confident communication and the ability to present and explain software solutions, test results, and technical findings to both internal teams and customers.
ResponsibilitiesThis role is primarily onsite in a cubicle-based office setting that is closely integrated with engineering labs, providing direct access to embedded hardware, test equipment, and instrumentation. The team follows a 9/80 work schedule, offering a structured yet flexible approach to working hours. You will work hands-on with equipment and systems that ultimately support critical installations, with opportunities to follow products from initial design through manufacturing and qualification. The culture is a balanced mix of colleagues who enjoy socializing together, including regular happy hours, and those who are more family-focused, creating an inclusive environment that respects different lifestyles. You can expect a professional, engineering-focused atmosphere with regular collaboration across software and hardware teams, access to modern lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and single-board computers, and a stable organization that has earned multiple recent awards. Attire is typical of a professional engineering office and lab environment, suitable for both desk-based work and hands-on activities in the lab.
