Kitchen Team Member – Grill & Line
Athenian Grill – Fayette Mall, Lexington, KY
$16–$20/hour
Athenian Grill is a family-owned Greek restaurant, and our Fayette Mall location is hiring Kitchen Team Members for the grill and line. If you can hold a station during a lunch rush and keep it clean, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do
- Work the grill and hot line: gyro, chicken, souvlaki, pita, and daily specials
- Build orders to spec and get them out fast and consistent during peak mall hours
- Keep your station stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper temps, labeling, and storage
- Help with prep and closing duties as needed
- Communicate clearly with the front of house and the rest of the kitchen
What we're looking for
- Prior line or grill experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working weekends and mall hours
- Team player with a steady attitude when it gets busy
- Food handler certification a plus, or willing to obtain
