Sr. Accountant
Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed distribution company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to financial reporting, process improvements, acquisitions, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the monthly close process and financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and compliance activities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Partner with operations on accounting and reporting initiatives
- Participate in process improvement and ERP-related projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Manufacturing, distribution, or product-based industry experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; large ERP experience required
- CPA preferred
