Starting Pay: $11/hour

ADirect Support ProfessionalFloat(DSPF)caregiverisresponsibleforprovidingclerical and technical support inmaintaininghealth services delivery to individualsas wellas providing direct care.TheDSPFloatprovides direct support, positive direction, instruction, andassistanceto individuals with mental,intellectual& developmental, and physical disabilities. Theultimate goalis to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible whilemaintainingtheir dignity and respect.Work assignments may be during any scheduled hours and at any sites where Dungarvin provides services

• Provide hands-onassistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assistwith daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing,toileting,personalhygieneand more.
• Schedule appointments and outings for individuals, coordinate and provide transportation for individuals to and from the community
• Establishand maintain individual’s medical records, both active and inactive,in accordance withestablished policies and procedures

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED equivalentrequired.
• At least 2 years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities

• Computer skills for documentation
• ValidDriversLicense (due to transporting persons served)
  • Some positions / locations may require own personal vehicle and auto-liability insurance based on the role
• A successful background clearance isrequiredas part of the onboarding/employment process
• Good communicationis key in this role.You’llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
