Duration:12-month recurring contract
Pay:$27-$29/hr + OT + per diem if travelling
Required Skills & Experience:
2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or installing equipment
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
Military experience in the following MOS’:
Avionics Technician
Load Master
Electronics Technician
Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for working onsite at one of their client sites in either Chandler, AZ; North Phoenix, AZ; Taylor, TX; or Boise, ID . This Engineer will be apart of the tool install team responsible for taking equipment from freight to functioning. This includes laying out all of the components to ensure everything that is required arrived to the client. Following standard operating procedures to ensure that the components are put together correctly. This individual will thrive in a team environment as they’ll work alongside other tenured Engineers in order to ensure the tool becomes operable within the time allotted. Additionally, the Engineer is going to be responsible for troubleshooting any problems that might arise during this process and finding the right solution given the circumstances. This individual will primarily be supporting their home site however this role will transition to a traveling position where they will need to be able to travel across the nation to support other client sites if their home base slows down. All travel is paid for including Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, and food ($444/wk in perdiem).
Additional responsibilities:
Perform Installation of semiconductor processing equipment
Maintaining records and reports as required
Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and customers
Order and install components
Responds to emergency service calls as needed
Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.
Employees must also maintain standards of conduct to maintain credentials for being on customer site
