Arcadia Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensedPT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLPwho is passionate about clinical excellence, team leadership, and delivering exceptional resident outcomes in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Position Summary

The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the overall management of the rehabilitation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. The DOR provides leadership to the therapy team while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, overseeing clinical programming, and promoting outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
  • Supervise and support Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and therapy assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor productivity, staffing, scheduling, and departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, administration, residents, and families to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and quality assurance standards.
  • Mentor and develop therapy staff through coaching and ongoing education.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
  • Foster a positive, resident-centered culture focused on exceptional outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Current Texas license as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP is required.
  • Previous rehabilitation management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part B, PDPM, and skilled nursing regulations.
  • Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
