About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedBranch Managerto lead all aspects of a manufacturing and distribution facility in Fort Pierce, Florida. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the branch while overseeing production, maintenance, transportation, safety, inventory, employee development, regulatory compliance, and customer service activities.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who maintains an active presence throughout the facility, can effectively troubleshoot complex operational issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead teams to achieve high standards of safety, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership and oversight of daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, reliability, product quality, equipment performance, inventory management, and operational troubleshooting.
- Maintain a strong presence in the field to identify issues, guide problem-solving efforts, and support safe and reliable operations.
- Lead, coach, develop, and supervise facility personnel, including performance management, training, and employee development.
- Manage branch transportation activities, including commercial vehicle fleet operations, dispatching, maintenance oversight, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee rail operations, including railcar inventory, loading/unloading coordination, inspections, maintenance coordination, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, transportation, and operational regulations and company policies.
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including scope, scheduling, cost, quality, and safety performance.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Support customer needs by ensuring timely delivery of products, installations, repairs, and resolution of service issues.
- Lead audits, investigations, corrective actions, emergency response readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, chemical plant, industrial operations, or related environments.
- Proven experience managing plant operations, employee performance, safety programs, maintenance coordination, and operational problem-solving.
- Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred
- 8+ years of leadership experiencein industrial, manufacturing, chemical processing, or plant operations environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with hazardous materials transportation, rail operations, contractor management, chemical manufacturing, or chlor-alkali/bleach production.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials transportation, and industrial safety practices.
Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial manufacturing environment and requiresregular plant floor presence.Candidates must be comfortable working around production equipment, process areas, outdoor conditions, and industrial operations while following required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
