Mobile Ultrasound / Vascular Technician - Part-Time

American Home Visiting Physicians is seeking an experienced Mobile Ultrasound / Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound testing in patients’ homes throughout the Detroit Tri-County area.

This is a part-time mobile position. Patient appointments and scheduling will be handled by our office. The technician will travel to patients’ homes for pre-scheduled appointments. All required ultrasound/testing equipment will be provided by the company.

Job Location:
Detroit, MI – Tri-County Area

Responsibilities:

• Travel to patients’ homes throughout the Detroit Tri-County area for pre-scheduled appointments
• Perform Echocardiograms (Echo)
• Perform Carotid Doppler studies
• Perform Venous Doppler studies
• Perform Arterial Doppler studies
• Obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images and measurements
• Complete and submit reports/documentation for each test performed
• Follow proper testing protocols and provide professional patient care
• Communicate completed testing information to the office as needed

Requirements:

• Experience performing echocardiograms and vascular Doppler studies
• Ability to independently perform Echo, Carotid, Venous, and Arterial Doppler testing
• Knowledge of proper ultrasound imaging techniques and testing protocols
• Comfortable traveling to patients’ homes throughout the Detroit Tri-County area
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete and submit accurate and timely reports
• Professional, dependable, and able to work independently
