Journeyman Service Plumber - Residential & Light Commercial

Rhead Plumbing is a growing, family-owned plumbing company based in Lavon, TX, looking for an experienced Texas Journeyman Plumber to join our team.

(This is not an apprentice or entry-level position. Applicants MUST have a current Texas Journeyman Plumber License and at least 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience.)

We are looking for someone with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills who can confidently walk into a customer's home, determine the cause of a plumbing problem, explain the available options, and complete quality repairs independently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing problems
• Perform residential service, repairs and installations
• Repair and replace traditional and tankless water heaters
• Repair and replace faucets, toilets, fixtures, valves and garbage disposals
• Diagnose and repair water leaks, including yard and slab leaks
• Perform drain and sewer diagnostics and repairs
• Complete water and sewer line repairs
• Perform gas line diagnostics and repairs
• Clearly communicate findings and repair options to customers
• Complete jobs independently from diagnosis through invoicing and payment
• Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service and quality workmanship

What We're Looking For:

• Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License – REQUIRED
• 3–5+ years of residential plumbing experience – REQUIRED
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with Housecall Pro (Preferred but not requred)
• Dependable and professional
• Pride in quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

We especially value plumbers who know how to find the actual cause of a problemnot simply replace parts and hope it fixes it.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting salary of $1,400/week
• Increases to $1,500/week after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period
