Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Pflugerville, TX
Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift
Compensation: Up to $20/hr + shift differential

Must have Skill Set:
  • Electronics or electrical assembly experience
  • Circuit board/PCB experience
  • Soldering experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic components
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
Overview:
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support a manufacturing environment in Pflugerville, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity focused on troubleshooting, testing, and working with circuit boards and electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronics, soldering, and diagnosing component-level issues. This position will work closely with engineering and production teams to identify problems, perform testing, and help ensure electronic assemblies meet specifications.
Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot and test circuit boards and electronic assemblies
  • Diagnose and identify component-level issues
  • Perform soldering and electronic assembly work
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Set up and perform engineering tests
  • Analyze test results and assist with resolving technical issues
  • Use electronic test equipment and tools to troubleshoot assemblies
  • Document test procedures, results, and recommendations
  • Assist engineers with testing and development activities
  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Electronics Technician, Engineering Technician, Electrical Technician, Assembler, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience working with circuit boards or electronic assemblies
  • Soldering experience required
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic components
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed
  • Associate degree, technical training, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
