Starting Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 + tips an hour - based on experience & availability
Job Requirements:
- Valid Fayette County Food Handler's Card is required before start date
- Restaurant experience (Preferred but not needed)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Having a good sense of urgency is required
- Excels in a fast-paced environment and handles stressful situations well
- Positive attitude
- Loves serving guests, helping others, and values teamwork
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide each arriving guest with a warm, friendly greeting
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
- Runs the floor plan board on Open Table.
- Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
- Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
- Cleans, organizes and sanitizes menus at host area.
- Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience. Thank each departing guest and invite them to come back.
- Fills to-go orders accurately and timely.
- Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
- Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
