We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our Fire Protection team. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, field teams, contractors, and customers to support the successful design, coordination, and installation of fire protection systems for commercial and industrial projects throughout New England. Essential Responsibilities:

• Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, FM Global requirements, and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed sprinkler system layouts for fabrication and installation.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing.
• Develop material take-offs and fabrication lists.
• Conduct field surveys and verify existing conditions when required.
• Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and other trades to support successful project execution.
• Provide technical design support throughout the installation process.
  

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in fire protection, fire sprinkler design, or mechanical piping.
• Experience with fire sprinkler design software, preferably HydraCAD.
• Revit experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  

ADA Physical Requirements:

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during site visits and project coordination activities.
• Work in both office and construction site environments, including varying temperatures, noise levels, and weather conditions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
