Advantax is a national leader in Business Personal Property Tax compliance and consulting, helping multi-location and asset-intensive companies across retail, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, hospitality, and other industries manage one of the most overlooked areas of corporate taxation.

We're expanding our national business development team and looking for a B2B outbound sales professional who thrives in a consultative, relationship-driven environment. This is not a transactional or high-volume appointment-setting role success here comes from thoughtful outreach, strategic follow-up, and building credibility with executive-level decision makers over a long sales cycle.

Summary

The Enterprise BDR prospects into Inc. 5000 tax departments, builds relationships with Controllers, CFOs, Tax Directors, and other senior finance leaders, and generates qualified opportunities for our consulting team. Property tax compliance is a niche industry Advantax provides the target accounts, tools, and training; your job is to build trust and nurture relationships with the right people over time.

What You'll Do

• Prospect into enterprise accounts through outbound calls, email, and LinkedIn (Advantax provides the target accounts)
• Build and manage multi-touch outreach cadences and professional follow-up
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover compliance and process-related pain points, and communicateAdvantax'svalue proposition consultatively
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with finance and tax leaders through extended sales cycles
• Maintain detailed activity and account records in Salesforce
• Leverage prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to improve outreach effectiveness
• Collaborate with sales leadership on account strategy and pipeline
• Participate in daily activity meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching/NEPQ sales training

Preferred Backgrounds

Enterprise B2B, SaaS, payroll/HCM, professional services, staffing, financial services, logistics/freight, commercial insurance, or other compliance/consultative outbound sales environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B outbound sales or business development experience, prospecting into executive-level decision makers
• Experience managing long sales cycles and multi-touch follow-up
• Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools
• Comfortable with coaching and a team-oriented sales culture
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

OTE - $95,000-$120,000 annual OTE (base salary + sales commission target.)
