CDR ProSource is hiring a Machine Operator – Laser Department for a manufacturing facility in Three Rivers, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and enjoys a 4-day workweek with Fridays off.
Pay: $18.00/hour
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts | Fridays Off
Responsibilities
- Use a computer to locate machine programs and make adjustments as needed to produce quality parts.
- Load sheets of metal onto the laser machine using appropriate lifting equipment.
- Remove finished parts from processed metal sheets.
- Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy.
- Sand or grind parts as needed to meet quality standards.
- Remove and properly dispose of remaining metal skeleton/material.
- Use hand and power tools, including grinders and sanders.
- Follow all established safety and production procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, and handle materials throughout the shift.
- Frequent use of hands and hand tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
