Title: SAP S4/HANA Multi-Module Functional Lead
Company Background:
We are a mid-size pharmaceutical manufacturing and sales company based out of the United States. Our organization has approx. 650 employees located across multiple facilities and we use SAP S4/HANA as our ERP system. Our S4/HANA system is used by about 150 users across the company and is configured with the FI, MM, WM, PP, and SD modules.
Job Description:
We are seeking an individual that can lead multiple SAP S4/HANA functional areas. This role requires hands-on knowledge of S4/HANA processes / functions and aims to accomplish the following objectives:
- Act as a liaison between functional business users and technical support teams
- Assist users who run into issues or are unsure how to accomplish tasks in SAP
- Satisfy SAP related business needs such as training, documentation, and testing
- Oversee new developments / changes to the SAP system being performed by 3rd party
Key Position Requirements:
- 7+ years experience working with ERP systems
- 5+ years experience working with SAP ERP systems
- 2+ years of experience working with SAP S4HANA
- Experience working with SAP in a manufacturing environment
- Heavy knowledge of the MM and PP modules and related processes
Responsibilities, skills, and knowledge requirements include:
- Understanding of end-to-end business processes including Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance
- Knowledge of SAP functions and processes across multiple modules (MM, PP, FI, SD, WM)
- Ability to train new users on basic SAP functions
- Answer questions from users about system issues and assist in troubleshooting steps
- Gather functional requirements from users to support new development efforts
- Lead communications across multiple departments to gather support for new development efforts
- Assist in writing and execution of testing protocols to support new development
- Escalate technical issues or development work to 3rd party SAP Support vendor
- Ability to generate documentation on common problems and solutions
- Proficient project management, communication, and prioritization skills
Additional experience preferences:
- Experience in a GMP/21CFR regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Experience working in SAP environments that include multiple companies and plants
- Experience leading or supporting SAP implementation processes
- Experience creating reports in SAP SAC Reporting platform
Educational requirements:
- Batchelor’s Degree in business, logistics, technical, or other relevant focus area
- SAP certifications or training courses preferred
