Accountant

Insight Global is seeking an Accountant, Financial Reporting to join their client's accounting team in Lexington, KY. This individual will prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, perform account reconciliations, and support the preparation of financial reports. The role will analyze financial data, manage accruals, assist with audits, and help resolve accounting discrepancies. This person will also partner with teams across the business to improve processes, support business objectives, and ensure accurate reporting. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires frequent cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 1-3+ years of accounting experience

• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification

• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting

• Process improvement experience

• Corporate accounting experience
