Social Worker in Grand Ledge, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Michigan School Social Worker Certification required
• Current Michigan Social Worker license (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Familiarity with special education processes and case management is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations to assess needs and support planning
• Facilitate and attend IEP meetings as an integral team member
• Provide direct support services to students, families, and educators
• Serve on the crisis response team when needed, helping students navigate critical situations
• Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
