A small manufacturing company is seeking a Technician who will be operating machinery such as cylindrical grinder and edge beveller.Workhours are Monday to Fridayfrom 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

  • Operatemanual machine tools
  • Read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Properly use tape measure, scale, micrometer, dial caliper, or othermeasuring instruments

Qualifications:

  • Must havepreviously experience operating a cylindrical grinder and edge beveller
  • Must be a mechanically inclined individual with basic industrial experience
  • Must be familiar with manual machine tools
  • Must have the ability to understand mechanical drawings
  • Must be able to accuratelyuse tape measure, scale, micrometer, and dial caliper
  • Must have steel toed boots
  • Must be an effective communicator, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, organized, and reliable.
  • Must be comfortable wearing requiredPPE
