Machine Operator - Multiwire - 2nd Shift

Performs all setups and change overs, operates 2 –3 multiwire machines to meet customers and quality requirements.
Performs minor maintenance on multiwire machines, including cleaning and general house keeping, reporting any problems to supervisor.
Pulls off wire scrap from spools and places in proper containers.
Performs annealing tests, measures wire gauge and performs other tests.
Maintains records, submits paperwork and reports to MRP system.
Must be certified to run forklift.
Aware of Kalas’ environmental policy and what it means to them.
Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them.
Additional overtime may be required.
Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
Temporary work at ECPD may be required according to business needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
