COFFEE COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM Job Description Cafeteria (Breakfast/Lunch) MonitorResponsible to: PrincipalCafeteria ManagerDirector of Food ServiceQualifications: High School Diploma or GEDAbility to adjust to varying tasks as assignedEssential Responsibilities:Maintains a positive, safe, and peaceful environment in the cafeteriaProvides assistance to students when neededMonitors behavior of students in the cafeteriaEncourages students to use hand sanitizer before mealsMaintains a friendly and helpful attitude with students and staffMonitors seating schedules for classesWashes tables and seats between classesGeneral Requirements:Follows Federal and State Laws and adopted policies and procedures in accordance with School Board prioritiesConducts oneself in the best interest of students, in accordance with the highest standards of public education and in support of the District's Vision/Mission StatementsMaintains ethical standards, which include professionalism and the protection of confidential student and staff informationOther responsibilities and/or duties may be required and assignedBOE Revisions Approved 2/8/10
