About the Clinician's WorkdayThe Emergency Medicine Physician Associate will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts in a 17-bed Emergency Department in Mount Vernon, Ohio, working scheduled 10 to 12-hour shifts. Clinicians will independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups presenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions. The Physician Associate will work alongside physicians and other APPs in a collaborative coverage model supporting approximately 25,000 to 26,000 ED visits annually. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment, and board certification and prescriptive authority are not required.
