If you thrive on building first-article success into steady-state production, this role is for you. You’ll be the go-to partner for quality engineers, QA, setup leads, machinists, and design engineeringowning CNC process creation, verification, optimization, and documentation for NPI.

What you’ll tackle
  • Build CNC processes end to end: tooling, fixturing, and multi-axis programming.
  • Program with CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, Esprit, Siemens NX) and validate in VERICUT.
  • Analyze workflows to boost productivity, slash waste, and standardize best practices.
  • Drive root-cause investigations and lock in corrective/preventive actions.
  • Produce clear work instructions, setup sheets, and SOPs that operators can trust.
  • Coach machinists on probing, macro programming, and quality-first execution.
  • Lead Lean initiatives5S, Six Sigma, Kaizenacross the shop floor.
  • Maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in every process.
Do you bring the essentials?
  • 5+ years in CNC machining/process engineering with hands-on programming and setup.
  • Mastery of multi-axis work: 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and multi-axis mill-turn lathes.
  • Fluent in reading drawings/specs and applying GD&T (Y14.5).
  • Comfortable with metrology tools and measurement systems.
  • Lean/CI track record and strong root-cause problem solving.
  • Team-first communicator who collaborates across departments.
Nice to have
  • BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field.
  • ERP/MRP exposureEpicor preferred.
