Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) – In-Home Services (IHS)

Wage: $17- $20 DOE

Hours: 6 - 12 Hours per Week | Morning Shifts

Blue Sky Incis currentlylooking for a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Individualized Home Supports (IHS) to an individual in their home and community.

This position offers approximately 6 - 12 hours per week, primarily during morning hours, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent, flexible part-time schedule.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide person-centered support based on the individual’s needs, preferences, and goals. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting independence and skill development
• Providing assistance with household tasks and organization
• Supporting community activities, appointments, errands, and other activities as needed
• Providing transportation when required as part of scheduled services
• Encouraging choice, independence, and community involvement
• Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Completing required documentation and service notes accurately and on time
• Following the individual’s support plan and all applicable company and Minnesota DHS requirements

Schedule

• Part-time: approximately 6 - 12 hours per week
• Morning shifts
• Specific days and hours can be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be dependable, patient, respectful, and comfortable working independently
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to complete required training and background study requirements
• Meet applicable Minnesota DHS requirements for providing direct support services
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Due to the personal care, privacy, and individualized support needs of the person receiving services, female staff are required for this specific assignment. This requirement is based on the individual’s service-related privacy needs and the essential duties of this particular position.
