Shift Manager

We are seeking an energetic, time manager and customer service skilled Shift Manager to lead our banquet team through complex banquet hosting operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee up to several banquets and manage multiple banquet teams and kitchen staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and oversee to ensure client satisfaction. Your leadership will foster a positive environment, motivate staff, and drive for food and beverage service excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop managerial skills while making a tangible impact on a wide range of special events and their success. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, passionate about food and beverage service and event planning.

Duties

• Supervise operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve banquet success and event hosts complete satisfaction.
• Manage employee orientation, training, and development to ensure team growth and engagement
• Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales recording
• Enforce company policies on presentation, customer service standards, and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with staff through managerial communication skills to foster teamwork and resolve issues promptly
