We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a personal injury practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative legal environment, brings strong case coordination skills, and takes pride in guiding matters from initial intake through resolution. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing practice while maintaining organized workflows, responsive client service, and high-quality legal support.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee personal injury matters throughout the life of each case, from opening files and collecting information to supporting resolution efforts.
• Conduct intake conversations with prospective and current clients, provide timely updates, and help ensure a consistent and attentive client experience.
• Collect, examine, and organize key documentation such as treatment records, billing statements, incident reports, and other evidentiary materials.
• Prepare and send requests for records and supporting documents needed to strengthen claims and litigation files.
• Draft legal and case-related materials, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery documents, demand packages, and settlement-related submissions.
• Communicate with insurers, healthcare providers, expert consultants, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in active matters.
• Monitor filing dates, discovery obligations, and other critical deadlines while keeping case files accurate, complete, and current.
• Assist attorneys with litigation support by coordinating document production, preparing discovery materials, and helping organize trial-related tasks.
• Arrange depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings with clients and legal stakeholders to keep matters progressing efficiently.
• Maintain case management records and contribute to the continued development and strengthening of the firm's personal injury practice.• At least 3 years of prior experience in a personal injury paralegal role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of personal injury claims, litigation procedures, and day-to-day case progression is required.
• Demonstrated ability to review, sort, and manage medical records and related billing documentation.
• Familiarity with insurance communications, settlement processes, and litigation support activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using case management software in a legal setting.
• Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with attorneys and support staff.
