SUMMARY
Responsible for the operation, setup, and maintenance of injection molding machines used to manufacture plastic parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Operate hydraulic and electric molding machines across multiple platforms.
- Prepare machines for production by setting up robots, molds, and workstations.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on assigned equipment.
- Analyze electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems of plastic injection molding machines.
- Repair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as thermolators, chillers, air compressors, etc.
- Perform routine to complex production equipment installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical devices and equipment and determine needed actions for repair.
- Generates and maintains equipment specific files that include maintenance records and schedules.
- Responsible for their own tools. (Can use a corporate tool account)
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping on all machines, equipment and work areas.
- Other duties may be assigned.
