Our client near Decatur, AL is growingand you can grow with them. As a Precision Plate Saw Technician, you’ll ensure every plate is cut to spec, on schedule, and ready for fabrication and welding.
Your impact
- Operate and set up cutting equipment; load metal sheets/plates efficiently and safely.
- Program, calibrate, and verify settings (including speed and amperage) to meet job requirements.
- Inspect output with calipers and tape measures; fine-tune for accuracy.
- Complete routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Partner closely with fabrication and welding teams to maintain workflow.
Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong safety mindset and consistent PPE use.
- High school diploma required.
- Pass a measurement assessment.
- Steel-toed boots.
Schedule & Pay
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
- $18/hour + overtime potential
