School-Based Physical Therapist - Irving, TX

Step into a rewarding contract role as a Physical Therapist, providing essential support to students across multiple campuses in a dynamic and inclusive school environment near Irving, TX. This full-time, itinerant opportunity runs from November through February, covering a maternity leave and offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

In this on-site role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload. Your expertise will help students achieve their academic and functional goals, allowing them greater participation in the school setting.

What we’re looking for:

• Active TX Physical Therapy license (required)
• School-based experience is highly preferred
• Ability to support students from kindergarten through high school
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting through TEA (unless done recently for a Texas public school district)
• Submission of references from your two most recent supervisors

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide individual or group therapy services for K-12 students
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Maintain documentation and comply with district policies and procedures
• Adapt therapy to various educational settings and student abilities
