Smith Personnel is hiring Assemblers for a manufacturing opportunity with an auto parts Corporation in Grand Prairie, TX 75051
Pay:$15.00 per hour
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or mechanical assembly.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble engine components and machinery parts according to established procedures.
- Operate production equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products for defects and report quality or equipment issues.
- Follow manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and safety standards.
- Lift, move, and transfer heavy materials manually or with equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete production records and monitor material/stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Meet production priorities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or a similar role.
- Entry Level OK
- Spanish speaking OK
- Basic mechanical assembly knowledge.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads.
- Ability to work safely in a production environment.
Preferred Experience
- Engine or mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience working with internal combustion engine components.
- Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment.
