Job Summary We are looking for a qualified, experienced certified medical assistant to join our growing family owned and operated dermatology practice in Moon Township, PA.
Responsibilities- Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
- Scribing for providers in patient exam rooms
- Setting up for various dermatologic procedures (skin biopsies, excisions, injections etc)
- Contacting patients with biopsy results
- Triaging patient phone calls
- Performing prior authorizations for medications and other therapies
- Restocking rooms with the necessary supplies
Qualifications- Experience in a medical office, preferably in dermatology
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work as a team and the flexibility to work with various providers
