This position focuses on optimizing production, monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.Key Responsibilities
  • Process Monitoring and Optimization:

    • Monitor production processes to ensure they operate within specified parameters.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
    • Conduct routine checks on equipment and processes to identify potential issues early.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

    • Diagnose and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime.
    • Collaborate with maintenance teams to repair or replace faulty equipment.
    • Assist in setting up and calibrating machinery for production runs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect and analyze data from manufacturing processes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare reports and documentation on process performance, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and tests.
    • Work closely with the quality control team to resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
    • Participate in safety training and emergency drills.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to support production goals.
    • Provide training and guidance to operators on process changes and equipment use.
  • Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
    • Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in a manufacturing setting.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in solar panel production or a related industry.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Comfortable working in a factory environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.
