Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a collaborative, professional environment with excellent long-term stability.
Responsibilities- Provide litigation support to 2-3 attorneys
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing
- Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case schedules
- Coordinate communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with document management and case organization
- Gather and organize case-related information and records
- Support trial preparation and other litigation-related tasks
- Handle general administrative and office support duties as needed
Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Legal Assistant experience in a law firm
- Litigation experience required
- Civil litigation or construction litigation experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and legal document formatting
- Experience with e-filing and transcription
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Team-oriented but capable of working independently
