IT Deployment TechnicianOverview

Join our team as an IT Deployment Technician and play a key role in delivering technology solutions that support operations across Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build hands-on IT experience, work with modern mobile technology, and grow their technical skills in a supportive team environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Samsung tablets while ensuring all devices meet company security and compliance standards. You'll work alongside experienced team members to execute deployments, provide technical support, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, configure, and deploy Samsung tablets for end users.
  • Ensure devices meet security, compliance, and company standards prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate with project teams to schedule and complete device rollouts.
  • Provide technical support during and after deployments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on deployed devices.
  • Document deployment procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions.
  • Assist with inventory management and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful deployment projects.
What We're Looking ForRequired Skills
  • Device deployment and imaging experience.
  • A+ certification or similar.
  • Desktop and technical support knowledge.
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience installing and configuring devices.
  • Asset management and inventory tracking experience.
  • Familiarity with Samsung tablets and Android operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an IT Technician, Desktop Support Technician, or similar technical role.
  • Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mobile device hardware and software configurations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.

Travel Information

Travel will be limited and within Pennsylvania. When travel is necessary, consultants can expense mileage, and approved overnight accommodations, meals, and lodging will be fully covered.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Reading, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
