Responsibilities

• Programs applicationsin accordance withDMC programming standards and best practices to meet and exceed customer requirements
• Commissions solutions at customer sites (domestic/international travel as needed), troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Works with most industrial PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, etc.)
• Continuously learns relevant technologies with guidance, gaining knowledge in sales, business development, and project processes
• Supports system architecture design, performs engineering tasks at all stages, and takes on both leading and supporting roles
• Mentors and technically advises new team members
• Conveys deliverables to customers through various communication methods and develops andmaintainsrelationships

Note:This role is designed for engineers interested in90% -100%travel, withthe majority oftime spent onsite at customer facilities.Vacation accrual is higher than our typical engineering positions.

Requirements
Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
• MinimumGPA of 3.4
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in programming, including text-based languages and object-oriented concepts
• Quickly learnsnew technologies, understands complex systems, and builds on established patterns and models
• Efficiently manages multiple projects, works directly with customers, and responds to their needs
• Experience designing projects in industrial automation systems (e.g.PLCs, Motion Control, Process Control, HMI, SCADA, Robots, Machine Vision, etc.)
• Interest in working across a variety of industries
• Experience leading and/or mentoring technical project teams (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop project proposals
• Ability and willingness to travel90% -100% for your first18 monthsat DMC
  • After18 months, there will be an option tomove intoa standard engineering role which expects 30%-40% travel
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel

ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at DMC must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e. current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. 1157-1158.

Compensation:
Starting compensation is based on industry, relevantexperienceand location standards.

• Engineer Levels II & III (3-5 years relevant experience): $101,000 - $121,000
• Engineering Levels III & Above (5-10 years relevant experience): $121,000 - $171,000+
