Senior Event Planner
The Senior Event Planner is an upfront and hands-on representative of Mansions Senior Living Communities. They have extensive daily interaction with resident's, customers, and the public on the company’s behalf. This position requires personnel to be professional, courteous, outgoing, compassionate, and always someone who always maintains safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service & communication skills. The Senior Event Planner is responsible for the overall enrichment and coordination of resident social activities. The goal of the activities program is to provide mental, physical & creative stimulation that encourages an invigorating social atmosphere for our residents.
Position Requirements

- Customerservice:includesprofessional,prompt,andcourteouscorrespondencewithresidents, visitors, contractors, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Maintainapositive“can-do”attitude.
- Abilitytofollowverbalandwritteninstructionwithattentiontodetail.
- Self-motivated,abletoworkwith/withoutsupervision.
- Communicatepolitely&professionallywithcustomers,co-workers&supervisors.
- Potentialfor“on-call”forfill-inshifts;couldrequireevenings,overnights,orweekendsforemergencies.
- WillingtotraveltootherMansionsSeniorLivingCommunitiesforemergenciesorfill-in shifts.
- Experiencedrivingpassengercommercialvehicles ispreferred.CDLisnotrequired.
- MustpossesscurrentDriver’sLicense,acceptabledrivingrecord¤tpersonalautoinsurance.
- Maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all the aspects of the property, specifically in areas such as community policies, safety, and emergency procedures, etc.
Essential Responsibilities(including but not limited to)
- Must love seniors and have a great sense of humor.
- Responsibleforplanninganddirectingaprogramofdiversifiedactivitiesforall residents.
- Develop & coordinate activities for independent residents to participate in such as: social activities, residentbirthdayparties,familygatherings,outings,spiritualactivities,creativeandartisticactivities, exercise, recreation, etc.
- Provideacalendarofeventsforresidentreference.
- Scheduleoutsidevendors&entertainersforenjoymentofresidents.
- Assistinresidenttransportationtoshopping,errands,doctorvisits,fieldtrips, etc.
- Managemonthlybudget&expensesforActivitiesdepartment.
- Engage&interactwithresidentsandfamiliestoinstillapositiveimageoftheCommunity.
- Communicatewithresidentstoseewhattheirinterestsare&developnewprogramsaccordingly.
- WorkcloselywithSupervisorstocoordinatemonthlyresidentormarketingevents.
- Seasonal decorations for the building to encourage excitement and interaction.
