Job Summary:Perform bench-type processes to repair mechanical and electrical machinery, using hand-tools, electronic test equipment, service manuals and pneumatic tooling. Disassembly and Reassembly of motors, pumps and other pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate with management regarding scheduling and motor shop issues, as well as giving feedback
  2. Repair, assembly and rebuild electric motors and small machinery
  3. Evaluate/inspect/diagnose pumps, motors, and other electrical machinery
  4. Disassemble scrap motors, tools, etc.
  5. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  6. Understand and complete proper documentation, test procedures and timekeeping
  7. Performs other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude, maintenance, machinery repair background
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds often
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills and work ethic.
  • Good attendance history
