Lumberyard Material Handler/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Lumberyard Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving lumber while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Schedule:Monday – Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm

Pay:$18.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Verify product quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Operate sit-down forklifts safely.
• Move lumber to designated storage locations.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

• Previous receiving and forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification is a plus, not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
