Location: Toledo Express Airport – Swanton, OH

This is a full-time overnight warehouse position with growth opportunities available for individuals seeking a long-term career.

Schedule

  • Full-time – 40 hours per week
  • Five 8-hour overnight shifts per week
  • Shifts generally begin between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and end between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
  • Must be available to work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Must be willing to work weekdays and holidays as scheduled

Compensation

  • $18.50 per hour
  • No additional overnight shift differential
  • Premium pay on holidays

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be able to work every weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Ability to understand and respond to verbal commands and safety warnings, with or without the assistance of visual aids
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds multiple times throughout the shift

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds multiple times per day
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift
  • Ability to twist, turn, stoop, bend, reach, and grip while handling packages and cargo
  • Ability to judge distances
  • Work is performed inside a warehouse that is not temperature controlled and may become hot or cold depending on outside conditions
  • Must be willing to wear the uniform and insignia prescribed by the company
  • Personal appearance and grooming must present a favorable corporate image

Responsibilities

The Overnight Air Logistics Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely receiving, sorting, moving, loading, and unloading air cargo and packages within the warehouse.

  • Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand or pushcart between the warehouse and trucks
  • Build package containers for outbound flights
  • Break down package containers arriving from inbound flights
  • Remove tie-downs and other equipment when loading and unloading cargo
  • Sort, scan, and move small packages throughout the warehouse
  • Operate package-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and pushcarts
  • Check air express containers for proper piece counts, weight, dimensions, and documentation in accordance with air safety and security guidelines
  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks
  • Comply with all warehouse and site security procedures
  • Monitor employee, contractor, and visitor activity and report security breaches, suspicious activity, or noncompliance
  • Perform routine cleaning of warehouse work areas and facilities as assigned
