Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to support site development, earth moving, and trenching activities primarily on construction sites. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and occasional travel to various work sites, working predominantly during the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, and loaders efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and site-specific protocols
• Conduct routine maintenance and pre-operation equipment checks
• Handle and manage loads appropriately to prevent damage or injury
• Support site development, earth moving, and trenching activities
• Adapt to occasional travel for different construction site locations

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation techniques
• Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in load management
