Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager to lead high-visibility initiatives within the financial services sector. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role calls for a strategic leader who can align cross-functional teams, guide complex programs from planning through execution, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in regulated environments and can drive progress across digital, product, marketing, business, and technology workstreams while maintaining focus on customer-facing outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Lead large-scale programs and projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring milestones, timelines, and business objectives remain on track.
• Partner with executive leaders and enterprise stakeholders to provide clear updates, manage expectations, and support informed decision-making.
• Coordinate efforts across business, product, marketing, digital, and technology teams to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
• Oversee project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, risk tracking, dependency management, and status reporting.
• Facilitate collaboration with outside vendors, agency partners, and other third parties to support successful project execution.
• Guide work related to digital experiences such as websites, landing pages, customer-facing platforms, and online journey improvements.
• Apply project management best practices and Agile methodologies to organize delivery, remove blockers, and promote team accountability.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, meeting materials, and executive-level communications that summarize progress, priorities, and key decisions.• At least 8 years of experience managing complex projects or programs with enterprise-level scope and visibility.
• Background in financial services, banking, credit unions, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Demonstrated success building relationships with senior stakeholders and leading executive communications.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams that include business, digital, marketing, product, and technology functions.
• Strong track record of managing external vendors, partners, or agency relationships within project delivery environments.
• Knowledge of customer-facing digital platforms, web experiences, landing pages, and online user journeys.
• Proficiency with project management tools and frameworks such as Jira, Agile, Scrum, and structured delivery practices.
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills, with PMP certification preferred.
