Cameron Recycling is looking for a dependable and experienced Welder to join our maintenance team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and have experience working with heavy equipment or industrial fabrication, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Welder, you'll perform welding, fabrication, cutting, and repair work on scrap-processing equipment, trailers, containers, heavy machinery, and other metal structures in our recycling facility. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential to success in this role.

• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work on heavy equipment and structural components.

• Inspect equipment and metal structures for wear, damage, and safety concerns.

• Repair and reinforce trailers, scrap bins, machinery, and heavy equipment attachments.

• Operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely.

• Work closely with mechanics and equipment operators to identify repair needs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.

• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.

Required

• Previous welding experience in an industrial, heavy equipment, manufacturing, fabrication, or scrap yard environment.

• Ability to weld and fabricate heavy-gauge steel.

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to read measurements and basic fabrication specifications.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred

• Two or more years of welding experience.

• Experience repairing heavy equipment, trailers, structural steel, or scrap-processing equipment.

• Experience operating plasma cutters, grinders, and cutting torches.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work around heavy equipment for extended periods.

• Ability to work in an industrial environment with dust, noise, vibration, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions.

• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and welding helmet.

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

• Occasional emergency or on-call work may be required.
