Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) looking to advance your career into a leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Director to oversee respiratory care services and provide clinical leadership within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate respiratory therapy services
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to respiratory therapy staff
- Develop and maintain respiratory care policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and professional standards
- Monitor quality of care, documentation, and patient outcomes
- Provide staff education, training, and mentorship
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Promote a positive, patient-centered culture of care
Qualifications
- Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential/license in Ohio
- Respiratory therapy experience required
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- Strong clinical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, acute care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
