What You’ll Do
- Build, repair, and install custom trim, cabinetry, and woodwork
- Collaborate with other skilled carpenters on preserving historic homes
- Do a range of construction work from rough framework to final finish
- Select and assess materials for quality and authenticity
- Ensure all work is high quality and meets remodeling codes and safety standards
What You Bring
- 8+ years of carpentry experience (trim, finish, and cabinetry)
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
- Knowledge of a wide variety of construction techniques including framing, installation, trim, etc.
- Personal hand tools, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with shop and power tools (skill saw, miter saw, jigsaw, etc.)
- Physical ability to climb ladders and lift heavy materials
- A strong work ethic, team spirit, and the ability to work independently
