About Us

PLS provides ABA Therapy across Northeast Florida. We help children, teens, and young adults with social and communication challenges build independence, confidence, and lifelong skills. Key Responsibilities

  • Mainly oversee cases in the school setting (Duval County). Clinic hours may also occur.
  • Collaborate and create opportunities for our clients to learn in a fun and nurturing environment
  • Oversee cases in clinic and School/Daycare, ensuring that treatment goals are relevant to each specific environment.
  • Manages a small caseload with BCaBA, Student Analyst, and RBT Lead support.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for improving our client’s functional social, life and communication skills and independence
  • Create treatment plans to address goals and barriers to learning
  • Write and oversee behavior plans to prevent challenging behavior and to teach alternative skills
  • Further the PLS mission of making our community a better place to live for individuals with disabilities and their families
  • Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards while navigating complex social dynamics in community and school settings.
  • Coordinates care with our clients Stakeholders in all aspects of their lives.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification is required.
  • Experience working with children/individuals with disabilities
  • High caliber character with strong commitment to ethics and a team player
  • Ability to build rapport with children and expertise in play and natural environment teaching (NET) within diverse public and educational spaces.
  • Master's Degree in related field and active certification as a BCBA (required)
  • Experience with CentralReach (preferred)
  • Proven experience in coordinating services and communicating effectively with external stakeholders such as teachers and medical providers.

Compensation:

  • $65.00-$68.00 per billable hour
  • $30.00 per non-billable hour
  • $45.00 per nonbillable supervision hour (when client is not present/group supervision/treatment team meetings)
  • Nonbillable hours are limited to a ratio of 1 nonbillable for every 3 billable hours conducted. Remote
    supervision that is unbillable is excluded from the ratio and is not to exceed 6 hours per week.

Work Location: In person
