Manufacturing Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Ability to work D-shift (4x10 Thursday-Sundays). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering or related discipline. Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with writing technical work instructions, GD&T, SAP, Lean Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques, working with electromechanical and/or optical assemblies, CREO/ProE with a focus on tool design, Working in a manufacturing floor environment, RCCA investigations on complex failure modes

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improving manufacturing processes using cutting edge technologies.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists. Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency. Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects. Develop process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering or related discipline.

•4/10-2nd Shift
