Job Summary:

As a Store Employee at GFG, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, stocking shelves, managing inventory, and operating the cash register, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Assist customers in locating products and answering questions about merchandise.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Stocking and Merchandising:
  • Replenish stock on shelves and ensure displays are clean, organized, and properly labeled.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries and verifying the accuracy of shipments.
  • Rotate products as necessary and check for expiration dates to maintain product quality.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Keep the store environment clean and organized by performing regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves.
  • Ensure that the aisles are free of hazards and that all products are neatly arranged.
• Teamwork and Collaboration:
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the store operates smoothly and meets daily operational goals.
  • Assist fellow employees with tasks and support management as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Moderate lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate a cash register and handle items.
